living life

I haven't written in a couple of weeks - seems like i must have been off living life instead of writing baout it. for the record, i keep harassing liz to get on the site and write stuff, but thus far to no avail.
the last couple of weeks have been pretty interesting. we're both starting to make quite a lot of melbourne friends, and i caught up with mel, luke, ming and renee who are all living nearby - ming and renee around the corner. oh, and kelly-dee, who used to live around the corner, but now lives a couple of suburbs away.
kate etc. are here tomorrow and thursday as well, so our social lives are certainly looking up.
we've been going to some of the comedy fest stuff - i saw ross noble, hurrah! laughed so hard for 2 hours i had an awful stitch. we've also been to daylesford - a gorgeous little hippie-ville like montville or bangalow - 1.5 hrs outside melbourne. i went back yesterday by myself to have some chill time and had my palm read, which was fantastic. i know it probably sounds ridiculous, but it really helped me put things back in perspective. i spent the whole drive home singing, and feeling how good it is to really sing, with no fear.
there is a man sitting a few seats away (on the train) facing me and staring at me. he didn't look away or smile or anything when i made eye contact, just kept staring with a sort of angry grimace on his face. it's a little off-putting.
almost at work - back to it (and off this train, thank goodness)

Hello my little chickadees! I had a bit of a flick through your site to see how you are doing and to catch up on the goss. I am home alone at the moment which is fab though I have no hot water of gas which is not so good (long story). I went for a huge walk all around Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens this morning (I love saying that)which was just gorgeous. I had dinner with Elly last night which was really nice (two for one meals at the pub)as she leaves for a europe tour with her man tomorrow which is fab.
I can totally relate to your money problems- if it makes you feel any better I have £5 to last me until Friday! All I can do is laugh at myself really! I am glad that you guys have been catching up with Kate, Em and the Transport guys - I checked out their myspace sites and listened to a few of their tracks (and yes, I noticed your photos on there!).
Liz, you know how you love me and all, well I would like some cds please (of Kate, Em, Transport etc). I feel very much out of the AUssie music loop and would love some new tunes (please!). Oh and if you get the chance get out Jess Townsends myspace site - she has some songs on there which you should check out. She is also a fan of Em and Kate (yes, I have been doing my job and spreading the good word) and is going to see Em play in Bris. I think that I am going to be Jess' merch monkey bitch and design some stuff for her. I have also been asked to design some stuff for a girl that I met through ELly who is a makeup artist (she is very cool) and her other flat mate wants me to do some stuff for her too. I really need a laptop!
Anyho, love you both - am looking forward to getting some new recipes (Liv, if you have any good veg recipes feel free to throw them in). Love lots, Sar
hey beautiful girl! thanks for the update. we've finally got the phone connected at home, and i'm about to update the site properly - with lots of stories and photos and stuff.
we're seeing kate etc tonight again (the whitlams have their own merch bitches, so we get to just hang and enjoy ourselves...) so we'll have to try to get some cds for you then. hopefull liz has some money, because after all my recent decadence (read about it in the entries to come) i'm a little broke till thursday. does liz have your mailing address?
miss you gorgeous.
