apparently these yellow flowers are weeds, but they made an amazing carpet. they're actually about knee height, and the trees looked like they were wading through water. i love that it look so incongruous.

You used to run through those weeds with your skirts flying, a picture. Problem was there were rabbit holes hidden under the flowers. You survived. A charmed life.
