still in armidale

18 January 2006

Day 4 at Jerb and Simone's place - we leave tomorrow for Tamworth. The last couple of days have been fantastic. i've been more chilled out than i can remember in my life over the last few days (unfortunately my body went "screw you bitch, you're going to pay for all the stress you've put me under all these years" and i'm exhausted, but mentally i feel great.)

Actually it's interesting that i feel so chilled because the last few days i've been doing a lot of facing my fears type stuff. i've been scrambling over lots of granite boulders (tim and milo would be so proud!), and being liz's snake watch on bushwalks where she was wearing open shoes, sleeping with spiders in the middle of snake country, and just being out in the middle of nowhere. it's funny, i've done all this stuff before, but it always felt forced. this feels completely natural.

Hello darlings!
Nice work on the blog effort Liv - I was continually chuckling the whole way through! The castle and hot springs look totally fab and I am thrilled to hear that you have both agreed that decadence is the way to go (you are after all on holidays!). Just wanted to send my love and glad that you are having a great time. Lots of (very jealous) hugs and kisses,
Sar
PS - Lizzy, don't forget to post up your drawing of the castle and any other ones that you think I might like (yes, it is still all about me). Also, I totally love the photo of the rose in front of the castle with Liv in the background - beautiful.
PPS - I have another challenge for you. Your mission, if you choose to accept it is to get as many photos with 'big' things as you can (minds out of the gutter please ladies). I want to see the Big Banana and the Big Tofu Prawn and whatever other big stuff there is out there. Hope that is not too lame and lives up to the challenge expectations...
PPPS - I really should just learn how to email!
PPPS - A cool thing you guys should do is reply to people's comments that they post so that they know that you have read (and appreciated) the comment they have posted. Just post a comment up after their comment so that you get a bit of a commentary going, you know. Well, I thought it was a good idea anyway... xoxo
